Mineral Feeders

Bought three new mineral feeders from Premier 1, so far I really like them.  The goats seem to be eating more minerals.  They were really easy to put up and the minerals seem to slide down better in this feeder than in the PVC pipe feeder I was using before.

November 6th 2013  UPDATE

I had to build this around the feeders to keep the goats from #1. jumping up and standing on the top of them and contaminating the minerals with their hoof scrapings.  #2. to keep them from butting them down.

I put a couple of hinges on the top plywood so it is easy to open and fill.  This has stopped the problems I was having with the two things mentioned above.

One feeder is filled with baking soda and the other with a mineral mix.
